Our Equipment

Sugar Panning

6 x 60kg copper confectionery pans and to service the copper pans we use a 4 x 25 litre cast iron cooking station for sugar syrup.

2 x 350kg Pellegrini pans which are accompanied by 2 x 250kg stainless steel melting tanks. A state-of-the-art touch screen computer controls the whole operation. Capacity of 600 kg per day.

Chocolate Panning

New 1650 mm chocolate belt coater with a capacity of 1 ton per day. We can coat in milk, dark and white. This state-of-the-art touch screen is a fully automated unit.

Three polishing pans which provide a high gloss shine on our products.

Packing Room

All products are put through our vigorous Quality and Inspection process line. Once inspected it is then sent to packing where it is then bulk packed or packed for retail in our cello bags. For bulk packaging, the product is placed into a high-density bag, then into a carton. Each carton is given a batch and a best before date. A retention sample is kept for each batch for quality control.

For retail, cello bags are also packed on this line where a more manual approach is taken and stickers are placed by hand. Stickers include weight, product description, ingredients, nutritional panel, batch code, EAN number and best before date. Twenty-five cello bags are placed into an outer carton. This packing line is a semi-automated process where we can either palletize or place stock into storage.
